Acceptable on all references in internal publications for the small plaza with fountain, flanked by Old College, Lustrat House and the administration building. Use the full, formal name, Hubert Bond Owens Memorial Fountain and Plaza, for external audiences. Owens, the founding dean of the School of Environmental Design, developed the design during the 1940s; it was constructed as a memorial following his death in 1989.
